Brand New Colors ← The full ladder
Rung 03 — The recurring engagement

One accountable person holding the financial picture together, month to month.

The Foundation — Brand New Colors’ one-time first engagement — gets the books current and the workspace live. Operating Core keeps them that way — and adds a monthly review that puts the owner in front of their own margin and trend on a cadence, instead of meeting the numbers once a year when it’s too late to act on them.

$1,000–2,800 / month · month-to-month after the first 90 days
What it holds

Three things, kept current every month.

📒
Books kept current
Bookkeeping maintained to the month, so the financial picture stays close to live and year-end arrives already reconciled.
🗂️
Workspace kept live
The operating workspace deployed in the Foundation stays maintained and current, so the place the business runs from keeps reflecting the business.
📈
Monthly operating review
A monthly read of margin and trend, walked through with you — so you’re reading your own numbers on a rhythm and deciding from them while the month is still actionable.
🎯
One accountable owner
A single person responsible for the financial picture holding together month to month — someone who knows the business and answers by name.
Pricing

Banded by size and complexity.

The monthly fee tracks the real work behind it — transaction volume, account complexity, and how much the business moves in a month.

BusinessProfileMonthly
Up to ~$100kSimple$1,000–1,300
~$100–250kModerate$1,400–1,800
~$250k–$2MComplex$2,200–2,800
The guarantee. Books stay current to the month, or they’re brought current within five business days at no charge. Month-to-month after the first 90 days — the early commitment covers the stretch where the rhythm is still being set.
Modules

Two layers that attach to the Core.

The Core is the base. When a business needs more than financial cadence, two modules attach to it — each priced on top of the monthly Core fee.

Module
Tax Rhythm
+$300–600 / month
Quarterly estimates, monthly reserves set aside, the compliance calendar run, and a year-end package handed to your CPA. The reserves keep the largest unpredictable obligation funded through the year, so tax lands as a line item already covered rather than a spring surprise.

Guarantee: the deadlines we track reach you in time. A slip on our end, we cover the penalty.
Module
COO Layer
+$2,500–5,000 / month
A weekly operating partner who installs how decisions get made: decision rights assigned, escalation paths set, and a weekly operating rhythm that keeps the business moving without routing every call through the owner. This is the rung that lets the owner step back — and the one that makes the business sellable, since a buyer can step into a documented decision structure. Capacity is held personally and kept limited.

Guarantee: the monthly contribution is on the record. Any month that doesn’t deliver it is credited.
Where it sits

The Core comes after the Foundation.

Operating Core maintains what the Foundation builds, so it starts where the Foundation finishes. The path is short and in order.

Foundation first — $2,500–7,500, one-time
Books brought current, the workspace deployed, and the Business Nervous System report delivered. The report names the primary constraint and points to the rungs that follow. This is where every engagement starts.
Operating Core on completion — $1,000–2,800 / month
When the Foundation goes live, the Core picks up: books kept current, workspace kept live, the monthly review running. Month-to-month after the first 90 days.
Modules as the business earns them
Tax Rhythm when the tax obligation deserves its own discipline. COO Layer when the constraint is operational and the owner needs to step back. Both attach to a running Core.
