GAME DOSSIER · COMEDY SIM · SIX-CITY TOUR

The room has not decided about you yet.

You have five bits and six cities to turn strangers into a room that wants one more. A heckler can change the night before your next joke lands.

Silence is part of the score.

When a bit dies you hear the ice machine. When it lands, somebody snorts a drink and a stranger high-fives another stranger.

The whole game lives in the distance between those sounds. The expertise is reading a room under pressure: timing, venue conditions, reputation, and whether the crowd trusts you after the last choice.

Six venues are drawn from twelve, conditions roll fresh, and people from the road have a habit of appearing in the front row.

WHAT THE PLAYER ACTUALLY DECIDES

The world supplies the mechanics.

The specificity is structural: it changes what the player can do, what each choice costs, and what the ending remembers.

01

Choose the bit

Safe-ish or spicy. The same choice plays differently to a rainy Tuesday and a corporate buyout.

02

Answer row two

Roast, fold them in, buy a drink, or ignore. Read the type wrong and the room takes their side.

03

Spend the callback

Land a bit hard enough and it banks for later. Kill on the fifth and risk the encore.

The room prices every choice.

There is no correct set. There is the set this room will take tonight, and the question of how much reputation you will spend finding out.

Six cities in, New York is the last and biggest room. Fans, heat, composure, callbacks, and how you treated people on the road all arrive with you.

BEFORE YOU PLAY

Useful answers, no mystique.

Do I need to know comedy?

No. Choices explain what they trade, and the crowd response teaches how the room works.

Can I lose?

You can bomb, and bombing is survivable. A dead room makes the tour harder and changes what comes next.

What is the content like?

Bits are titles rather than written punchlines. The risk comes from reading the room, without explicit material.

Does it save data or use sound?

No permissions or saved data, no sound, and reduced-motion support.

Why it belongs here.

This game demonstrates the studio’s central claim: a real place, practice, community, or text contains better game mechanics than a broad theme pasted on later.

For commissioned work, the game goes with the client.Studio originals remain ours. A commissioned client receives the whole commissioned game and a practical source handoff under the agreement. We keep pre-existing tools and generalized craft; confidential material and distinct client expression stay with the client. READ THE OWNERSHIP FAQ ↗
